Biz Data wins European Union tender to train users on LANSA software

For nearly 20 years LANSA has been operating a comprehensive partner program. Our Solution Partners use LANSA tools as part of their strategic development platform to provide packaged web, Windows and mobile applications or extend the functionality of existing software solutions. Our Services Partners provide personnel to assist with core application development or custom development to extend existing software solutions. Our Distributors and Resellers, in addition to assisting with services and application solutions, provide LANSA products, technical support and training.

Some exciting news has recently been brought to my attention as European Reseller and LANSA partner, Biz Data, has been granted EU funding for staff training and development on LANSA’s software environment!

Czech Republic-based Biz Data Inc. was founded in 1995.  Their main activity is software development, especially large-scale information systems for insurance companies and brokerage companies. The company is also engaged in training and providing comprehensive services in the field of IT.

Biz Data, who is a certified LANSA distribution partner for over 15 years, provide technical support and authorised training on LANSA’s solutions.  They have recently won the first part of an EU funding program. The tender was issued by Czech Republic Ministry of Industry, who had been granted nearly €30 billion of EU funds.

To keep their programmers abreast of technological advancements in both the financial and insurance sectors, in order to support customers using a Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) distribution model, Biz Data entered the European Union tender for funds designed to be used to educate users on the LANSA environment and programming methodology.

Milan Nedved from Biz Data had this to say about the tender, “The aims of the education project is to increase professional employees’ knowledge and skills, while creating and education program.”  He continued. “The project aims to enhance the professional knowledge and skill-set of users through a detailed training program. In establishing a training timetable we aim to enhance user knowledge specifically in business processes at insurance market segment.”

“Thanks to LANSA’s assistance and support we have been exclusively allocated a LANSA expert, Mr. Jurgen Rentinck, who has been able to educate and train staff as per the terms and regulations of our tender award.”

A huge congratulations to Milan and the whole Biz Data team! We are delighted to see one of our longest serving European partners achieve fantastic success on the LANSA partner program, and here’s hoping for many more years of fruitful activity with one another!
